I agree, it seems to be 'oh yes its a major pandemic but not really a pandemic and everyone should prepare but theres really nothing to worry about and no need to change your routine at all'
I still think theyre managing it all to prevent stock markets crashing and protect shareholder interests and not managing it for the health implications.

Posted a thread on a site I part-own and can see what peeps do. Peeps are taking a quick look, not enough to read then going onto other things. A couple have had their eyes opened and replied but on the whole they don't get it.

One of my neighbours says he hasnt even heard about coronavirus and he watches tv and goes out daily. End of day if people arent bothered or choose to ignore it thats their choice,they cant complain if they get sick later. Ive just read an Italian news site, Lombardia region sold out of masks and people who have them selling them for 150 euros each - normal price 10 euros. |

I've been in touch with a lady who's a domestic in Guangdong just inland from Hong Kong. She knows little about the virus except that it's not been reported in her city which seems strange.

It is strange considering its wall to wall on both South China Morning post tv and CGTN official chinese news stations.
All of my friends ive woken up aand theyve bought masks and paying attention.

We're being governed by tossers who'll have bunkers to hide in but at the end of the day I just hope that the world comes together more on matters like this to be better prepared for the next one having learnt from the mistakes that are occuring as I type.
Good news on my clan front, all of my relations have now smelt the coffee after my emails and near enough ready.
