I'm not so sure about that, one if the biggest mosques in the country is only a couple of miles from here and they give every impression of being very rich. Certainly had no problem finding the money to build it in the first place. I think they operate like the church did in the middle ages, you have to pay if you want to go to heaven Stop talking white man shit ffs, you dont have to pay to go to heaven or to build mosques. Its part of Islamic tradition that money wealth and fashion iconography are of no importance and frowned on,its usuary, heretical and a distraction from dedication to worship of God. They usually give between 10 and 25% of all their income voluntarily back to the community, thats their tradition same as Hindus and other religions. Its the Christian churches that expect donations and the money rarely goes back into the community its just absorbed into the costs and revenue streams and their vast wealth.

Who is talking shit Cris? How do you build a fabulously ostentatious mosque on a prime London site, the site alone probably worth tens of millions, without money? And I know because I live cheek by jowl with them, (plus Hindus, Sikhs and Jews), I know that your expected to pay through the nose. Your standing in the community depends on it. And your standing in the community is everything. If you call that voluntary you don't understand how their social pecking order works in reality You say that its part of Islamic tradition that money wealth and fashion are of no importance and yet they are among the most status conscious people on the planet. They absolutely love their flash cars, big houses, rolex watches and designer labels They pay more for a pair of sunglasses than I pay for a car. They are the most materialistic people on the planet The most truly philanthropic are the Sikhs, every day they set up a food kitchen at their temples and anybody who turns up gets fed irrespective of who they are.

And of course English white men dont want any of those things ( ask any professional white man especially professional football players ) ; flash cars big houses (in London square mile) rolex watches designer clothes, sunglasses, exclusive holidays and most proclaim to be devout Christians and love to show it all off..but oh no,only Muslims are the fault. Which Christian religions (documented as the biggest wealth by far) have hundreds of billions of dollars/£ sterling invested in property, bonds, shares stock, commodities, art, pension funds, gold, currency.

Politics and religion are the two things to avoid in life. I love trees, the thunder, lightning, the wind or sun in my face, the turquoise black of an angry sea, these are my gods and gods of old long before man twisted the pure to suit himself by gaining the advantage of lesser men with his pissy temples made to subdue the foolish.
There is more to life than falling out over man-made religion and way more than enough hate to support it.

We are on here to chat and be friends, have a good time and support each other nicely, not to have to deal with your ego and Friday night outbursts. get a life Cris, i'm gone from here You killed it No 'Friday night outbursts' or 'ego' I have neither, I dont do ego,(im a buddhist) nor do i bully (i know, all about being on the receiving end of that - thanks) i dont even moderate comment on here at all, not at least as aggressively as i perhaps should, youre always free to express what you want and as you please,as everyone else is. I challenge offense and lazy prejudice though, certainly. Non of it 'Friday' specific, Ill jump all over you in person or online, regardless the day of the week if you want to use bigotry as every day throwaway currency. I get mightily bored and pissed with passive aggressive covert xenophobia, be it racism islamophobia or any other totally unnecessary 'ism' You have no excuse for yours but you dont like me showing you up for it and yet its me who has a personality problem and you resort to the bullying you accuse me of! I make no excuses for calling your opinions out for what they are.. Not you personally, but your opinions. Youre a better man than that Im pretty sure of that and dont(shouldnt) need to resort to traditional lazy bigotry just because its what is 'normal' in our British society or how you form your world view. I think we all have quite enough to deal with in life, regardless of background, without having to tolerate age old inbred ignorant stereotypical slurs. Support and friendship we all value, bigotry and prejudice (however well disguised) is not part and parcel of that concept and is not welcome or useful - both here nor in real life. If it makes you feel better holding your opinions, fine, thats entirely your prerogative. If you prefer to think foreigners and alien non British cultures and religions are the the demise of this country, fine, thats your prerogative, I respect you and your opinions you hold. But, i know from first hand what bigotry, prejudice and being considered 'alien' in my own 'birth' country feels like and how deeply uncomfortable and toxic it is exposed to that uniquely inherent English social prejudice 24/7/365, so dont expect one ounce of sympathy or an easy ride from me simply because you dislike and/or are intolerant of people of non white English culture of which you're so proud. Ive already had quite a 'life' exposed first hand to many different global cultures, religions, political systems, tribes, hatred, prejudices, etc and also seen first hand the truly tragic results of cultural/tribal/religious hatred, death, torture, deprivation, famine, warped 'justice',insane cruelty etc and all while in the dedicated service of this 'great' country my entire working life, - although serving a country im considered by most average Brits as an 'alien' 'foreigner' 'fuck off back to your own country' etc - so maybe its not me out of us both who needs to "get a life". So, What did i kill? Other than your own inherent delusions. Peace, and stay safe.

813+ more dead today and they keep talking of easing the lockdown at some point. Just how are we losing so many compared to the rest of the world and it's not down to BoJo failing to act early or testing. That argument holds no water when you look at lesser countries or Sweden. It can't be all down to Asians with extended families, IMO there has to be something that's not being said.

Seems to be the densely populated countries or regions that have racked up the highest death totals for obvious reasons. Sweden still has 2100+ deaths. Economics will dictate lockdown, not the virus spread. Business wants to get back up and running. I think the various governments will take the view that losing a few more of the elderly will be a better option than losing their economies. Majority of under 40's seem to have had that attitude all along, throw the old and gristly to the wolves.

Just how are we losing so many compared to the rest of the world and it's not down to BoJo failing to act early or testing. That argument holds no water when you look at lesser countries or Sweden. It can't be all down to Asians with extended families, IMO there has to be something that's not being said. The percentage of deaths is roughly the same when you compare Sweden to UK; their population is a lot smaller than ours so both are at about 0.02% at the moment - that's assuming you accept the 20,000 figure being bandied about here, that still doesn't take care home deaths into account. Greece had their first diagnosed case the same time that we did, locked down immediately and they've lost 100. New Zealand shut down straight away, they've lost 12. Conservative government have spent the last ten years underfunding all public sector services, including the NHS. Brexit has seen overseas staff leave, leading to staff shortages across the board. Benefit payments haven't been enough to live on for the last decade, homelessness increased 100%, 1 million using foodbanks, 4 million kids living in poverty, 140,000 deaths attributable to austerity measures, all just consistently ignored. We were in the worst possible position we could ever be for this to happen. They ran an exercise in 2016 and knew then they'd never cope with a pandemic of this scale and did nothing. They cut the PPE surplus by 40% when Hunt was Health Secretary. They were warned last year that this was coming and did nothing about it and once it finally arrived they still did nothing. We've a large elderly population and a large percentage of people who just do what they like whatever they're told and whatever the risks. We've got NHS staff, shop staff, delivery drivers, postal workers, school staff and goodness only knows how many other people still interacting with the public without PPE and they're still letting people fly in from other infected countries and letting them through without testing or quarantine. The major problem we've got, in my opinion, is that so many people in positions of power are there because of the families they're born in to, not because they're any good at the job they're doing. Boris missed five cobra meetings because he was off nobbing his mistress and no-one's batted an eyelid.

Can't understand why our borders are still open. Our govt must be the worlds most stupid politicians if they think this is acceptable. Trouble is if the tourists are bringing money, our shit shower will welcome them with open arms, they're all safe so fuck us public, they don't care....😕
