Its real name is acetaminophen and is in Panadol Paramol and Calpol which is paracetamol liquid suspension for kids.

I had a call from Dr's surgery this morning telling me to self isolate to protect my self from the virus so I will stay in the van as much as possible but will go out in the countryside where there is not too many about.. I am one of the old gits with underlying problems

I always thought Paracetamol was the generic name, as supermarkets all have their own brands. You learn something every day! What i meant was its the real name of the active ingredient. Its marketed as Paracetamol Panadol Paramol Calpol here,Tylenol in US ..its got other names in other countries. |

lemsip type powders contain Paracetamol and work quickly. They do,plus phenylephrine hydrochloride but they give me horrible heartburn and palpitations. Phenylephrine is a decongestant and not recommended for people with diabetics,heart issues, high blood pressure,alergy Lensip also contain lactose aspartame sucrose and sodium so not always suitable for people intolerant of lactose or on no salt diet. |
