Just realised unless my figures were wrong but Italy has jumped from 1200 to just under 6000 in 9 hrs. Just wtf. The last update i read the cases had gone over 5500 cases. The two hotspots similar to Wuhan appear to be Italy and Iran,there must be a connection or as some 'expert'has questioned if its a more virulent form. It still appears to be mainly older people dying from it. |

Im sure theres plenty of mileage to make all kinds of xenophobic cases.Ive already seen one claim the virus was lab engineered to rid the world of old people and thus reduce the globsl population and another to create enough economic chaos to bring down the global economy and new order.
Who cares? Its already too late to attribute blame or cause. We need sense and strategy to deal with the reality not runaway fantasia.

I'm guilty of the same thoughts. A couple of weeks ago I was walking through Ludlow for my Friday shopping and saw a Chinese 'tourist' family (they had that glazed look and walk that tourists do ) on the other side of the road. My first thoughts were 'are they infected' and then anger against their country for what they have done but logic kicked in and second thoughts were 'poor bastards'.
I find myself looking now whenever someone coughs. Twat in the pub yesterday coughed into his hands at the bar then put both hands palm down on the counter waiting to be served.

The scientists think bats were the original source and pigs were possibly the intermediary carrier,not proven yet.Eggs are a good medium for any bug as they are a mini untreated protein vessel often handled.As chinas fave meat is pig there is a problem.Humans played god too long,crossed too many of natures laws,got too arrogant now it all unravels.Reminds me of pulling unfinished knitting when i was a kid.We balance more precariously than we ever dared think.Chaos in all. |
