I'm babysitting my two grandsons for an undefined period of time today. I have money to take them to the waffle house for lunch, boiled eggs for them to decorate for Easter, and I gave the youngest boy a tin whistle recently so have brought mine with me so that I can show him how to get the notes, then play some simple tunes with him.

I'm thinking they both definitely need a recorder or tin whistle!...to take home for practice😜

Went to the doctor's.Nightmare to get an appointment. I've got a lump under my left ribs ,was really worried. Doc says it's Lipoma and nothing to worry about . Phew. Glad it's nothing scary, Lika, well done battling through to get seen! I think that's the most stressful part sometimes. Is it something they just leave alone or will they remove it anyway?

That sounds like proper fun to be had, Parrot How lovely. I do love the way adults play with kids now, when I was little we had to sit still and be quiet while the grown ups talked and it was very boring. It's lovely that people interact and have fun more now. Hope you all enjoyed it, I'm sure you did!

I've been putting things on Facebook to sell, it's made my brain ache, I'd be terrible at an office job or anything involving technology, I think. I still really fancy working in an ice cream van, that's always been my dream job I'd probably eat everything though Lol

The younger boy has his own tin whistle, a nice one which I got him recently. He is adhd and pretty exhausting, but we have an understanding. They both seem to be having fun.

It's harmless so it will be left . The NHS don't even treat varuccas nowadays. Apparently castor oil can get rid of lumps and more. youtu.be/S14bnK3y2KM?si=XroUsqUHsiltldHS

Over the past week, we've been having some really bad trouble with the side door. It was constantly sticking and jamming. It's between the roller at the top of the door and wear on the mechanism at the back of the door, that goes along the track on the body. Aside from this, the window frame was very rusty and the door had a long shallow dent that was there when we bought the van. Even I couldn't disguise it. On Saturday I got trapped in the back and had to get out of the back doors, over the bed. The last straw was when it fell off the track on Sunday night and I had to call out the AA as we don't have torx bits to take the track arm off and put it back. So I started looking for a new door. I missed one on eBay by £2. Eventually I found one on Facebook, but it's a central locking door, which the van doesn't have. But at least it opens and closes!! Ah van life. I knew there would be breakdowns, but never saw this one coming!!

Yes all sorted now, we did have to leave the door ajar for a bit until the new one was fitted, to avoid the slamming it shut bit. Freezing!
