Similar to an Indian Shehnai then ... I like that instrument I had to look that up. Very similar but very different musical scales of course. I don't expect to ever be more than awful to be in the vicinity of, when I'm playing though. 😂 |

It's been a bit of a birdy week.a swallow in the van.birdman,uj safely shown him the exit.poorly hen had to be helped on her way yesterday.went to let her out of her hut.she d not been getting any better even tho she was getting extra vits,mushy food and lots of snuggles from her pal.yesterday she was turning her head more of less up side down,as if it wouldn't stay level😞onto a funnier one,the grand daddy of the family here comes back to base every so often and takes back surpless eggs.there wasn't many this time,but he done a final check of the nest boxes.when he delivered the other end,his daughter found he d only took the pot/decoy eggs too😂bless him.we be also had to upturn the goats trampoline as one of the kids keeps getting her head stuck!🙄still doing a bit of gardening.finally dismantled the rockery,transplanted the plants,now ready for the customer to turn into a rose bed.off to the circus this weekend,finally,to see what our neighbours get up to while we're holding the fort here!😁  |

I finally got to go for a walk in my new local woods this week maggy.looks like if finally found a wood that's not been wrecked by bikes,mx riders and people!my brief wander saw quite a bit of fungi .next time I'm remember my camera,knife,bag etc.happy hunting😁

HAHA - I frightened some youth with me scythe .... a think they'd not seen one except at in a Grim Reaper character in one of their games ... they nearly ran for it ... I thought they'd appreciate how excellent it was .... but my presentation obviously lacking  just watched a lovely film documentary The Need to Grow ..... REALLY inspiring - but the challenge of the industrial machinery is so vicious. Nice to read about all you hippy growers out there - big smile. Where we lived several houses ago one of our neighbours had a teenage lad who had OCD. He found gardening helped and because of his OCD he did the most perfect job you can imagine so I used to give him a few quid to help out every now and again. Kids don't seem to do odd jobs like they used to when I was a kid? We all did bits and pieces for people, garden work, housework, babysitting, dog walking and so on. Doesn't seem to happen so much any more. Hope you manage to get a bit done on the allotment anyway xx |

Goat safely extracted from hay rack!🙄they 're so naughty,and guess who's in sole charge for the next 4 weeks?😏great day,travelled up to see the circus show,at last,and meet the circus family.absolutely amazing.lots of heart in mouth moments.and the artists are lovely.very welcoming...and a lil bit nuts😁

Your gonna end up in the circus your self grace if they get an incling you done tree work , you and UJ will get trained up as a trapeze arteeests ,UJ would be your catcher obbs as just swinging around upside down is pretty demanding , and if either of you were to have to 'let go' of the trapeze , I think you would be most confident , bearing in mind you will have to perform sommersalts at the same time and your more use to hieght .
