Back to normal after my solstic shennanigins. Today is vacuem the house day. I would find it much less rewarding if we didn't have dogs and other animals in the house, but mud outside and woodash from fires gives a good level of basic filth as a nice foundation. Vacueming is something I have come too late in life, and so the thrill is still there. It was not an easy thing for me to adopt , but was easier than the other options . I have also been forced convinced by treat related rewards since to perform other acts of cleaning, some which are strange and mysterious and need 'pink stuff' Another thing is how variable the time it takes to vacuem. For me its about an hour on a good day and visitors coming your looking at 4 hrs if you dont want sarcastic comments. Since my vacking career started 3 years ago ? I am on the 4th one , though latest model which we have had over 2 years is the bollocks (limited experience of other brands). It goes back to like new after a good rogering of the filters every 30 mins m and only has 4 sq mtr capacity on our super expwnsive extensivly damaged by cats rugs ,
Soz just reaalise i be waffling , I am in post vac euphoria.

Today was rather eventful.move going ok ish!we 've gained 2,14 week old kids and a field of alpacas to babysit!we set off to ferry more stuff to the new place,uj in the camper, with plants, chicken wire, book case, and chair(the campers been in the garage 3 weeks, waiting on hard to obtain parts for the mot, cost around Β£800.this is relevant to storyπ)me in front in car full of similar stuff.I stop at a junction,to let a truck by,so we can pull out together.uj predicts,I'll be pulling straight out!!!!yup, straight into the back of his own car!!!not too much damage to the car,but the campers front is caved in!!oh well,it 'll do as a temporary living room until if decorated and the sofas come!ππ€π

Improvised restyling of your own car bodywork is an underrated esoteric experience.

Nice waffle bungo (much better than the calorie ridden ones wi jam ). Tricky living wi them wimmin things, they priorities seem to be well different - all that tidy wife malarkey ha ha ... can't live with em can't live without em. ANYWAY ... I just had strawberries (from the front of me flat) for breakfast. Made me realise (a little bit more) ... how hard work it must be, being a farmer or a smallholder or doing any food growing for a living, or even for serious home supply. Crikey, I am such an amateur ... just playing at it really .......... playing is nice, better than working though, by a long chalk. Ta for your waffle buddy ... made me want to go an read some Dylan Thomas ... βOh, isn't life a terrible thing, thank God?β β Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood
... even with the invention of vacuum cleaners (gotta laff out loud)

just had an argument with my ENERGY supplier .... lost it when the 16 year old I was having to interact with told me (from her script) that rising energy was because of the war in Ukraine and it was Vladimir Putins fault !!!!!! SO - just sent her a copy of 2 screenshots courtesy of the UK gov. what a bag of absolute lying bastards in charge of water, heat light power food etc Ne mind Jenn .... keep calm and carry on.

Toilets inside houses is as bigger step back as the spinning jenny Don't talk to me about the Spinning Jenny (hope you're not having a poke dude - although I am usually spinning lots of the time - working on turning the energy into sommat useful tho - aha) ..... SERIOUSLY - considered plotting a composting of human waste initiative ....... expect the LOCAL Planning Department might put the mockers on it though - and Health & Safety ..... and local outraged neighbours probably. Like you well say - so much bad PROGRESS so quick ..... twas ever thus - you'd think homo sapiens might have learned sommat by now ..... seem to be going backwards .... mmmmmmmm backwards ...... might not be a bad idea really - so long as we don't have to go back to typhoid and cholera epidemics because of bad sanitation conundrums conundrums ...... there will be a path through the conundrums though - I am determinedly hopeful x

BUT lot to be said for going with the flow n all. Moderation and excess in all things ... in its various places and as required at any given moment. Loads of love, J x

Snotty weather so planted out a load of Malabar Spinach in the poly tunnle , pricked out a load of salad and kale and eyed my tomatoes with a sense of disapointment as they have let me down with earliest tomato in the 'Competetive' veg growing I do with an olde freind.Been a pickin black currants and about to move on to goose berries .Ma made some jam and there is talk of cake involving blackcurrants.
