But I'd go one more than that: "For you, comrades, the wall is waiting..." Or is that too quick? Hard labour perhaps? With forced labour if they don't cooperate....

Seems an appropriate way of dealing with traitors guilty of wholesale organised robbery of state assets and sabotage of the state to be fair.

That sounds like a good haul, Grace, when I read church I thought you'd been converted I love the buildings and you do always get good cake at a church do. Do you like the graveyards? I know some people find them creepy but I always feel like they're very calm places.

Well done on ironing, the last time I ironed something was 2012, I think, I ironed a pair of trousers I was wearing to my sister's wedding (because she told me not to turn up looking like I'd come in through the hedge Lol). My son is going to an afternoon tea to celebrate the Coronation with his learning disability group and it's a shirt and tie event, we went and bought both and I will have to iron the shirt because it was a folded up one and the lines just won't drop out, even after steaming in the bathroom. Amazingly I remembered how to tie a tie despite the fact I haven't worn one for about forty years. Pity I can't remember anything else Lol, hope you get time to put your feet up at some point, is your knee still bad? xx

Well today is a tidy up and catch up on jobs day, much like yours yesterday Grace. The weather's lush just now, my son almost decapitated me earlier when his 'acrobatics with a juice bottle' attempt went wrong so he's been dispatched to the garden to wang about outside. Hopefully get a bit of gardening done. It's nice to have all the doors and windows open although it does mean that the cat who is in love with my cat let himself in and tried to get a bit smoochy with her. She battered him and he slunk off looking all sad, bless him, he's just sitting in the garden now hoping she'll change her mind I guess

I don't iron for myself gist,I took on my neighbours for some cash during lockdown..she hadn't bought any for a while,I thought she d found someone else.turns out she's skint.so we 've done a deal.I do her ironing.she 'll sort out our chooks when we 're on our wanders😊knees the best it's been for ages,thanks..as for rest..today me and idiot boy.cut up a trunk we d felled earlier in the week.and had it bought back to the yard.took some chains and faulty saws to the saw shop to be sorted.planted 60 surpless trees around the yard perimeter.and emptied an open barn that was full of plastic farm waste..not nice wet and rat smelling!had enough then.so home to get the ratty smell off...oh!and cut a pile of wood for ourselves...sitting down now😂

Hello friends. Sorry I haven’t been around for a while. I haven’t forgotten you, but I see most of the people I know in “the other place”! I tried to log in a few days ago but my connection is very flaky and something went wrong.
I spent a lot of time recently preparing for a gig I had on Wednesday, which turned out to be a lot of fun. Today I cycled up to the lock in the wind … much easier coming back; picked up my weekly veg order from the organic farm in the village; answered an e-mail from lika. I was going busking because it stopped raining. Then I remembered I’m going to a concert in Cambridge tonight, so I’d better get sorted. I started making a loaf of bread and thought I had enough flour, but I haven’t, so I bought a ticket for an Arthur Brown gig in November instead. With any luck we’ll both still be around for it.
