I wonder if that's true of mobile connections. To be honest, I don't bother with iplayer. We watch youtube or DVDs I am told that iplayer asks for a license number, so that might be a way round it on mobile.

I have got a tv solely for watching rugby games, which is not often. I mostly use french tv ,live streaming or every now and then set up my satellite dish. I do not think that when I use the latter that the beeb is going to send goons over to the mzinlznd to try and find an ldv that is constantly on the move !!
How about other vehicle dwellers in the uk ,does anyone have a license when on the road?

I never had one though only really used to watch Brookside .A friend got nicked because they turned up at his door and admited to not having one and having a TV. He should have told them to fuck off and come back with a search warrent, which they would need . In the mean time he could of got rid of it . He got a fine , can't remember how much . Twit In his defense he was not british , so was not up on the rules .

We didn't have one for about a year when we moved into our house. They came round and we said we had just moved in. We went to the Post Office that was open til eight, and bought the license. As it was dated the day. We 'moved in' we never heard anything. In the flat before the house, we didn't have one for five years or so. If they came round, I just put on a heavy accent on the entryphone and they gave up.
