Can't stand facebook, and never could get to the bottom of twitter. That said, I spend more than enough time. On the internet as it is... I don’t like it but when you get to my situation with friends and family spread all over the place it is a good way of networking. I don’t use it except to give and receive news, never for trivial day to day stuff, unlike some of my friends who do post crap on a daily basis and it’s so banal. I’m not really interested to know that Nick is at the dentist |

Face book and the whole digital information thing feels like a steel fence you cant climb over a fekin farrow crate with unseen observers taking anal swabs when ever they like. No dignity, no privacy and your rights are fungible - Look how many times are you notified that terms and conditions to something you have signed up for have changed to suit them selves.

When you go to make an omelet and forgot to buy the eggs.

"Polish my boat" would make a great euphemism.
As in: " Goodnight all, I'm off to polish my boat" or " Do you fancy popping over to polish my boat this weekend ?", maybe " I'm so tired, I've been polishing my boat all weekend...."
