driving through the suburbs of derby, seen a house with with xmas decs up FFS tis 20th of september Ooh that is early! Unless they left them up from last Christmas and it's late? Lol THats what I thought , we had the chrismas lights in our living room up for 9 years ! and our old next door neighbours had an inflateable father chrismas on a sleigh on top of their porch for over a year, (though it was pretty deflateded by Easter)

I only took the lights down in the living room as I was decorating , but it was lovely to have twinkly lights all year.Typical they stopped working on taking down ! New permenant lights on cards

I love Christmas as in the mid winter solstice. Do very little, eat a bit more, drink a bit more, cuddle up and stay warm.
