but surely the point is he/she was playing a male and the male in this question has a beard which every kid knows ,so why confuse the little buggers even more

Santa might be a made up character, but the persona of that chatacter is male.I'm all for women being equal to men, but fuck me how can a woman play santa? Surely it's not fair on young minds who look forward to the big feller all year only to see a woman imposter? Everyone is that busy argueing about a split arse santa they aren't stopping to consider the only people who really matter at christmas, the little innocent ones. They don't care about feminism or womens rights but they will care if these pc nobheads shatter their illusions just so a woman can make a point. |

Have to say I agree, Santa should be a man.
Saint Nicholaus whom Santa Claus is based on was a man.Father Christmas doesnt suddenly become Mommy Christmas with a beard.
Kids as young as they are are still good at spotting frauds.
Another thing thats always infuriated me since i was a young kid is the Christmas panto and lead roles like Peter Pan or Jack (and the Beanstalk)always played by girls and the wicked sisters or mother goose etc played by blokes im drag and one of the main reasons I detest panto's.
Kids know instantly so why the need for confusing gender switch when its unnecessary.
I know panto and harlequin go back to Roman times and often involved cross gender roles its not a new PC thing but its still annoying..to me anyway.
