Credit Card Christmas and pay for it forever lol Never had a cretin card in my life and wouldn't know how to use one properly for all the 'cash back' gimmicks, pay off early bollux. When I was first married all of our friends had the latest and poshest kit and clobber on card whilst my O/H and myself toured the charity shops and when interest rates went up a lot shit out bigtime. I'll stock up on ready prepared stuff if it's reduced but I've never eaten in MuckDonalds or any of the other fastfckupfoodholes although I had KFC and the odd Wimpey as a teen. I just don't get how folks can eat that shite all of the time.
If I haven't got the cash for it I don't have it and save for it IF I really want it, always been the same. |

nearest supermarket to my present park is sainsbury, boy what a difference in quality to asda, my budget is 3 quid a day for food and for that i live well, woman next to me in queue was telling her mate she spends 80 quid a week for her and husband on average plus a big shop once a month and of course will spend a lot more over the xmas period and that's not including booze

I love to see the mad panic in supermarkets when it gets near crimbo. You would think there was a war/flood/riot/hurricane coming!
At worst the shops are shut for a day, with most opening on boxing day.

Local radio said yesterday that there was fighting in a store in Brum over that Kevin carrot and family toys and that they're all sold out.
I'm bemused every year at the huge amount of stuff peeps load into their trollies for just one day and you can guarantee that most of it will end up in the dustbin. I used to hit the stores last thing on Christmas Eve as stuff was seriously marked down or used to be and then again after for the luxury food such as cheeses.
