Probably a rival poaching gang though or scared he will turn grass...they may have got him eventually but were amateurs surprised more passers by werent killed or injured. I doubt it will be good news for Rhinos TBH.

When I lived in the US they used to say that global warming would be a good thing and living in Upstate New York on the edge of the Canadian Border I could easily believe the argument. Unless you have lived through a winter where temperatures routinely drops to minus 20, night after night, and the oil freezes in your engine so people have to fit block heaters. You don't put antifreeze in your radiator you fill it up with neat antifreeze. Millions of square miles of North America, and Canada (plus Greenland and Alaska) are virtually uninhabitable because of the harsh and long winters. Snowed in for seven or eight months of the year it kills any form of agriculture stone dead. We have all watched ice road truckers and programmes about Alaskan mountain men but until you have actually experienced the cold and what it means you cannot imagine what its like. When you fly into Phoenix Arizona for the last hour or two you are flying over what looks like a crumpled brown blanket, its the Arizona desert. Temperatures can reach 40 degrees C or more. Death Valley slightly to the west hits over 50 degrees C and it was like that when the waggon trains used to try and cross it in the 1850s You physically couldn't carry enough water to get you and you animals across. You were reliant on a few scattered water holes hoping they hadn't dried up. People died like flies, and if you left it later when it was a bit cooler you risked getting cut off by the snow on the mountains. That was certain death too Why anyone would want to live in the Southern States of America is beyond me, the heat is relentless and people live in air conditioned bubbles The American climate has always been hostile

Youll get those extremes on any continental landmass,Russia swings from -50 to +40 some years worse.Mongolia -65 to 30+ Even the Mediterranean isnt free from extreme weather variations.Italy Greece Turkey all get them. Very few places in the US have a temperate climate. The UK is only lucky that it has the gulf stream to moderate the normally temperate climate here, without it (which is looking increasingly possible) UK would experience the same summers and winters as Canada or Sweden, possibly worse because UK sits on the path of jet stream that piles up atlantic weather systems in its direction and that would be devastating for the agricultural system here especially in winter and would make life very difficult for everyone.
Inhospitable extreme weather is always something that happens to someone else though. Until people learn that no one is safe from droughts floods, long winter extremes etc we will continue to make things worse without accepting any responsibility.

How come if its the G7 there are nine of them? I know the one behind Macron is Van de Lying (who has no justifiable right to be there) but who is the other?
