The daughter of Dubai's ruler who tried to flee the country in 2018 later sent secret video messages to friends accusing her father of holding her "hostage" as she feared for her life.
In footage shared with BBC Panorama, Princess Latifa Al Maktoum says commandos drugged her as she fled by boat and flew her back to detention.
The secret messages have stopped - and friends are urging the UN to step in.
Dubai and the UAE have previously said she is safe in the care of family.
Ex-UN rights envoy Mary Robinson, who had described Latifa as a "troubled young woman" after meeting her in 2018, now says she was "horribly tricked"
This was the opening post on a horse racing forum l look at. Titled - Sheikh Mohammed treats his horses better than his daughter -
"Sheikh Mohammed the owner of Godolphin Racing has been imprisoning his daughter Princess Latif in a villa converted into a jail somewhere in the UAE since her capture in Feb 2018. Sheikh Mohammed is an individual of immense wealth and power in the UAE. Sheikh Mohammed is also the patron with the most horses in training at Newmarket, and of immense influence there.
Princess Latifa managed to release a video on her (secret) mobile recorded in a bathroom - the only room with a lock. She'd been held captive in the villa since her unsuccessful escape in Feb 2018; 5 policemen outside and 2 policewomen inside. Princess Latifa is being held alone without access to medical or legal help; windows and doors barred shut.
Is this the sort of individual we want in our sport and the UK despite his immense wealth and patronage at Newmarket?"
Many Tesco shoppers have been charged twice due to a 'technical glitch'. They won't be doing that with me, I pay cash!
I have another beef with Tesco. There are two here, a big supermarket with all the departments, deli, meat, fish etc. Not a problem except with all the covid restrictions, queueing to get in, queueing to get to the checkouts etc its slow but well managed.
Between here and the big Tesco there is a Tesco Express in a petrol station but its a big one.
Now my beef is that most things in the tesco express are around !0% dearer than prices at the main store.
A few examples (it makes me look like an alchy but its just any easy example to find)
Tesco own brand whisky £6,25 in main store, £7.00 in tesco express
Tesco own brand vodka £6.00 in main store, £6.50 in Tesco Express
Tesco own brand crumpets 32p in main store, 36p in Tesco Express
