They seem to revel in making a screw uo of everything they do. Theyve had years to prepare for it so begs belief why theyre warning of an imminent mess.

does anyone really take any notice of what the BBC says anymore? I dont believe anything they say. The trouble is the people we really need to get the coronavirus message across to don't watch the BBC or read the papers Instead they are picking up crap on social media saying its all a hoax and it doesn't matter. Dont diss the BBC, its not perfect but its the best we've got.

Im not being negative, just stating the obvious, why after 4 years of the vote to leave and being the sitting government have they still not made adequate plans for Brexit? People were warning of tjis 3 years ago and nothing has changed. If they want Brexit and its the mandate of the electorate, get on with it and stop faffing about. Let Raab and Sunak and williamson run the government, the others are just a ball and chain to the country, especially Gove, what the fuck is he to anyone.

trouble is we had Treason May "negotiating" with the EU, every time Barnier said "jump", she asked "how high?". there has only been a majority government in parliament since the last election and the EU are still demanding not negotiating. they are still acting as if we are still a member-we are not, and "acting" is the right word. time to walk away with WTO terms now, if the EU want a deal let them come to us when we are free of all their institutions.

It doesn't matter what agreements or not the UK makes with the EU theres still going to be the need for customs processing of some sort and that will inevitably hold up freight passage. The government have known this all along and should have been preparing for the potential of no deal and rigid customs borders all along, not start doing it now when the transition period is about to end.
How the UK deals with its borders is a UK thing and no good blaming failure to deal with that on the EU,its the fault of British politicians and the sitting government. Even without a working majority the government is still responsible for infrastructure in this country and making provisions for planned and unforeseen but remotely possible changes black swan events, its what governments are supposed to plan for even if they dont happen.Theyve consistently hidden behind UK EU rhetoric and arguing and left any planning to the transition period and mostly the last minute. Id say the same if it was Labour who had failed us,which they have under the previous leadership.

Yeah, I rang my ex in Portugal to warn him. Yes my friends in France have had letters out of the blue last month from their bank telling them their accounts will close unless they have UK address.
