I would like to know the story or reason behind your avatar. Mine is named after an old synthesizer from the 70's made famous by artists such as Gary Numan. They were way out of my reach then (hey i was a kid in the 70's) but i bought one and had it fully restored several years ago - its one of the items i would enter a burning building to rescue! Whats your story?

Mine is Foxy, he lives in my kitchen cupboard. As you might know, this forum came to be from UK Hippy, which is due to close at the end of August. Prior to this forum opening, there was a thread on the old forum, about a fennec fox being kept in a flat and being fed an unsuitable vegan diet. That's why my avatar is a fox!

My name is Matt, and my surname begins with R... So a bit of Spoonerism later, and I'm Ratt... My love of ratbikes might have helped here... Also, I'm a naturist, so my avatar is a chilled Naked Rat.

My avatar is Seasick Steve, whose music I like, my name is not Steve ( or Seasick ), I do not look like him, I can not sing like him and I canβt play music like him, I have nothing in common with him at all. Sometimes my avatar will change, it may be a monkey π , which I probably have more in common with, ( looks, sounds and behaviour) .other times the avatar will be something else that I have nothing in common with , patterns, trees, anything that appeals to me really.

Whats your story? Im a big synth fan,i got well into them (amd lasers)in the seventies with Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk Numan et al. All analogue then but still fabulous. I like to play around on the digital synths i have on my pc and phone.Id love a moog but not practical in the small space i live. I was horrified to see one in the local council recycling skip a couple years ago and the staff wouldnt let me have it. Still a big fan of electronic music, moog analogs are still hugely popular.

Non serviam is Latin for "I will not serve". The phrase is generally attributed to Lucifer, who is said to have spoken these words to express rejection to serve God in the heavenly kingdom.
Taken from wiki
So in other words I don't like to 'conform' or I'm a devil worshiper or maybe both πππ

Ah...a tv soap person, thats why i didnt recognise your avi. In my defense , I do not watch Eastenders anymore , but Ian is a grand role model , a young go getter entrepenuir who has really made something of himself except for the bit where he became a tramp , used prostitutes regularly treating them badly ,and a few other tiny slips as a parent ,but he is human after all and who wouldn't want to own a fish and chip shop ? Should I heavens forbid feel a bit glum ,I think of chirpy Ian , and what he would do in that situation , and I am back out of my corner when the bell rings with my gum sheild in and a horse shoe in each glove !

WWID? A good question to ask yourself in all those tricky situations you have, like when you have a body to dispose of and no patio! Surely Ian would cut it up and use it for bait for catching fish which he could then sell in his chippy. Win win every time. An excellent role model.
