I don't remember 76 being as unbearable as this but it was damn hot then, maybe it's age but one thing's for sure, food prices and their infrastructure will rise as fruit crops are going to be smaller, root crops such as carrots are failing and predictions are that a lot will be just ploughed back into the ground as they won't be viable for harvesting. Winter, if ever we have one will be dear on the pocket.  |

Was checking out the sloes t'other day,quite a few on the branches but only the size of peas.Gonna take forever to pick a bucketful and they might be no good when they're picked.We've been hay making last week and that didn't crop as heavy as last year, but at least it didn't get wet and spoiled.

Started working early on the box but have given up for now as it's just too damn hot. There's very little traffic compared to a normal day too just heavies and the odd juvie thrashing his motor. Very quiet but too hot to sit out and enjoy.
The rich twunts gardener nextdoor is mowing his lawn on his lawn tractor, sure he's watering it at night as it's nearly all green and his pond is still full from a mains-fed pipe.

Had good intentions for today,scrapping a van just need the rear axle off it now. Was gonna go do it before it got hot, but woke up to thunder and rain!least it was cool. Then soon as it stopped raining the big stupid fuckin sun came straight out like a big stupid firey fuckin stupid ol' bastard 'orrible twat of a fuckin bastard hot thing!!!
So now im back to doing fuck all except being too damn hot....

Sometimes I look in the mirror, just to make sure it doesn't actually say 'mug' on my fuckin forehead....

They are saying its going to be 47 in Portugal and Spain today. In my mum's flat its like an oven, unbearable. I am seriously thinking about buying a proper portable air conditioner for the flat. Of course theres no chance this year, they are all sold out long ago. I've looked into it and they are not that dear now, will have to make a hole through the wall to vent it but the heat is too much for her. The fact that I might benefit from it too never even crossed my mind  |
