Many thanks to Sten for suggesting this.
Direct image uploading can now be done directly from the forum without uploading to an external host yourself.
At the very top of the 'Create Thread' Box there's a new button labled Add Image To Post.
Click on that, and you are taken to imbb.com. There you select 'browse from your device' to select an image. Select one, and click 'upload'. This brings you back to the forum, having automatically added the code for a clickable thumbnail.
Try it, it works!
Oh unfortunately it's not available on the mobile version. You can get the desktop site on a mobile, go to the very bottom of the mobile version and look for the link 'Desktop'
