Thats a respectable temperature. ...bit of a nuisance when your heating is malfunctioning.Thick Blankets hanging up the windows and up the doors or thick old curtains what we used to do.Still cold with only a coal fire but not so bad. Plenty of decent cheap winter clothing now and warm duvets not cold as iron sheets and blankets 🥶 Run down stairs and have your bare arse in front of the blazing fire to warm up.😁 Yes it's caught me out, I've stocked up for winter food and got Christmas sorted, extra blankets/layers/draught proofing was next on the list but the weather got there first I've got a couple of old quilted throws that will do as extra door curtains and a couple of blinds that I took down to strip the wallpaper that just need putting back up. All manageable, just could have done with doing it last week lol.

2 degrees in St Austell but it feels much colder. Just glad I'm not one of the poor fishermen on a day like this. I still don't think I'm completely over the virus I had last week because I don't usually feel the cold as much as this

We had a touch of the white stuff yesterday, but it didn't stay around for long. A bit of a frost this morning, and temps hovered around freezing all day, soon frosting up tonight now after the sunset. A similar day forecast for tomorrow, and then a rather milder but very wet and stormy Saturday.... According to the Met. Office. We'll see....

Always best to keep beards separate lol. We've had a bit of snow, more forecast and weather warnings over the weekend so have decided to stay home. Bit wimpy of me I know, the roads are alright at the minute but I don't fancy getting stuck later on and it's only a matter of time before some div flies along there doing sixty and comes off at the bend so we're going to stay in, cook food, make cookies and stick a film on later on.
