Been a bit mizzly all day, but not cold (13c), so did some work in the yard. Then RSP before it got dark, so had to beat a hasty retreat...

Well I believe the Scottish word for the weather today is 'dreich'; wet and miserable, about 10 degrees but feels colder so wisely staying in this afternoon reading and eating cheese on toast  |

Dreich here too,has been for days,but feels colder with it. Bring me some blizzards and ice now.
That time of year when its dark at 5 but feels like its getting dark at lunch time.

Been quite chilly here today, around 9c, misty, dank, and without rain. So didn't work in the yard for long, rigged up the small bench in the outside hall. Closer to the kit in the flat when I need it.

I've not been outside for three days. Ive got a really Shitty cough, cold, chesty lurgy. Very seasonal
Times like this I hanker back to the old days when I would self medicate with a bottle of whisky
Actually,several bottles of whisky
But those days are gone now, this is the only time I ever miss it

Hope youre better soon ...in time... for bird flu next 🫣 Im never normally lurgified but 3 times in 2 months already. I need to drink more vodka ..for medicinal purposes only 😁
Been wall to wall grey damp mank and never got above 6.5°C all day.
The good news is theres a blast of articness coming our way next weekend and this time looks like it might actually happen,so T shirts and shorts in Scotland and the North as usual,everywhere else might need to get out the vest and Mac. ( for clarification purposes thats a Mackintosh coat, not a Macintosh device - which wouldnt be very warm,probably) Plus its advisable to wear more than just a vest and Mac..unless its a fetish kind of thing. Im not judging,flash away.

Three hundred and sixty days of the year I never stop. So a few days of doing nothing, wallowing in self indulgent self pity, wrapped in a duvet on the sofa drinking medicinal amounts of whiskey and watching crap on TV is almost a nice change |

Yes Bernie cold and snow is coming,mostly from weekend but its gradually going colder. Toasty 3°C here at moment looks like will be heavy frost in morning.
