I haven't been keeping this up, as it's been pretty steady at just over or under 1,000 page views a day. That's pages that have been viewed by (mostly) members, but some would be in the general section by guests and search bots like Google.

We've hit a new high! It's the first time we have got over 2,000 views!
Interesting read guys. I'm new & was lurking a bit before joining. I was a little careful before joining due to being a member of a similarly named forum but that ended badly...... Thats a long story and I'm digressing.
The forum format is something I personally enjoy using, but I have seen its drastic decline due to Facebook and social media in general over the last 10 years. Pretty much every forum faces the same issue with small membership. But I have to say the forums with larger user bases are much more toxic and witch hunts are very much something you have to witness regularly.
I follow verious forums for mountain biking, music, djing and Airsoft but the better ones are the quality over quantity of users that are the best to use.

Thanks for the point of view fumps. The old forum closed and became a fee paying site. I think we got thew best of the posters from there, on here Keeping most of the forum private works for keeping the spam and content scrapers out! It also means you can relax and say what you think.
July wasn't as good as it could be, but I blame the good weather. We still don't fall below 1000 page views a day. On some days we get 150 visitors. Not all are real people, but most of the bots are search spiders from Google and others.
