very difficult question that , i mean i think biscuits to be fair should for ease of choosing be picked from long running ones maybe that are a bit plainer to enhance a tea or coffee i lkke bourbons, or big think numb biscuits
but i think a big thick round shortbread biscuit wins dunked in a strong coffee at christmas takes some beating,
So shortbread for me
your only allowed to pick 2 favourite seasons (mine are spring and summer) what are yours?

Autumn and winter without a doubt for the foraging and the nurturing. Will find positives in all the seasons but defo those two for me.
You have to be watch an entire series time and time again constantly for the next year. Which TV series would it have to be?

Yes, a friend had a flat in the grassmarket in Edinburgh it was overlooking the cemetery. A number of creepy things happened in the flat. It had a ‘resident’ poltergeist’ who moved things around. Both my friend and the other girl in the flat were studying nursing and were not squeamish. But one night one complained of a trick being played with a prosthetic leg. We all pulled out the bed and there was nothing there at all. Other things like seeing shadows when no one was there happened. My husband also once stayed in a farmhouse with two brothers. Whatever threw the furniture at him and his brothers didn’t want him in the house. He had paid a weeks deposit and didn’t go back for it it was so terrifying. The other entities and the farmer may have had a financial agreement 🤣
You can be one species other than the one you currently are for the rest of your life, and you can’t change back, what would you chose and why?

I would be an Orca. No predators ergo relatively safe in my own skin, beautiful, strong and fast.
If you could change anything that had happened in the past, what would you change and why?

Could i have a few . no smoking , continue to do a degree, wear a dust mask using power tools in fact work for a firm who took ppe seriously not a family firm with old blokes with outdated opinions on ppe. travel and work while travelling and one of those girlfriends was the one settle with her.
Tough one here
you have a year to go fossil fuel free how would you do it? (I've lowered mine, burning old wood from jobs this heats my water on a log burner with a boiler I've mended up now, I use a head torch as much as i can but that's it really at the moment)
I could cycle to my jobs and use van less like get tools to big jobs with van and have basic tools in a pannier for odd jobs could even e bike it that would save a fortune i think and gie me more range and less knackering cycling after doing a hard day's labour)

I am fossil fuel free, at least as much as modern life allows, have been since april/may last year in support of Ukraine and taking pressure off the supply.
I no longer drive a car though I still own one. Work from home, heat is wooden pellets, electric is 100% renewables, mower is electric. Most of my water is from rainwater and this year I hope to finally plant up my vegetable garden.
I walk mostly, get a bus into town once every two weeks to shop, buy most vegetables from a grower 300 meters away, the rest from the market, wine from a vineyard 5 km away, eat almost zero prepackaged food to cut down on packaging waste, ( exceptions coffee, dried yeast etc) drinking water from a spring 1 km away which I take a wheel barrow to collect. Clothes and odd purchases come from one of the local charity shops.
A life for boring home loving introverts.
What was the thing you did that scared/terrified you the most, but actually did anyway?

difficult question that many things have scared me and most have been beyond my control
being bullyed badly at school head slammed in doors head flushed down toilet kicked while curled in a ball on the floor stiches in head but not grassing on the bullys
fights , mostly losing them being scared or running away but occaionally winning them
breaking up fights by bear hugging a bloke in a pub till bouncers came and threw him out as he was an ass , buying my building site to then build my house this scared me the most going up a pillar mountain in the lakes when fog set in and hail the size of golf balls came down and wind and i nearly died in the process throwing myself amoung differant people i dont know
truly scared
but things ive decided to do then regreted it i think is the true defintition of the last question i think
id describe more as anxiety maybe for me even though i dont suffer from it
I think at school i could have stopped in the technogy class for some reason i did one lesson paniced i defered to woodwork i regretted that
same went for dropping doing my degree i didnt do it it scared me and as more time went by i didnt bother to do my degree course offerd from a university for me
ive made daft stubborn decisons in my life and this sometimes in the moment scares me
the reality ove worked out was one bully was in the technolgy class so maybe subconcisly i dropped that i was then bullied again at college a knife held to my throat on one occaion
so i maybr thought if i went to uni id get bullied againso i stepped away from further education
but things i do i have total control of scare me like going up a mountain in the wrong weather (i dont do this now) but i process this get stressed but clam myself down a lot more and dont show my stress somehow.
I guess getting into a fight be it an argument or a physical fight has scared me and ive done it anyway its that feeling ill lose or im back as a kid gettting bullied again that anger and heart pumping feeling of a quick flash of anger feeling stressed then either taking a punch or tryting to deal one out
Has anyone on here fulfilled there dreams has life worked out in the end as they want it to be did you go back to a job or carrer or learning you left or did you do in the end what you wanted to do
