If you were a car and you were going to put up an ad to sell you, what would you say .
Have got a 1970s fly for sale. A few miles on the clock but very reliable and looked after with good fuel and regular washing. Internal components are in good order due to a regular oiling. No leaks overnight as yet and due to a celibate lifestyle no play with the camshaft :-) No tax or mot due to age but a good runner though have a preference for walking :-) Never had any careful lady owners !!
Come on guys a bit of self evaluation and sillyness is called for, so let us know what your ad would be :-)

Light commercial for sale.
40 years plus, tax and test exempt.
Mechanically in very good order, reliable and never lets you down. Bodywork good for age, no filler or recent paint, none needed.
Not a new van, not even the latest model. Built for reliability not speed!

Small,lightweight,workhorse,well used,minor referb a few yrs ago,so runs better now..,some creaks and bumps,but runs well after warming up

How about
For sale a BB classic. A good honest vehicle that is very reliable. One owner from new, tested every year. duel fuel model runs on beer or wine but tends to be a little thirsty. Minor collision damage. Needs a daily shot of redex to keep everything running properly. Exhaust is a bit noisy and probably wouldn’t pass an emission test.Will part ex for a younger model :-)

Rolling restoration of future classic.
Has a few faults and issue,
Can be a bit temperamental, has starting issues on cold mornings
Rattles a bit on start up
No mot or service history
Can be a bit thirsty

Light goods vehicle, recently converted to run on low octane fuel after pump issues. Some wear and tear, especially around suspension and ball-joints, sluggish after a cold start but can do some useful work after warming up. Bodywork tatty and dented after numerous accidents, paint worn through in places, but no leaks. One careful lady owner for years, was driven daily. Can be seen running, or more often walking. Emissions have been tested and declared safe.

Clapped out old banger, slow to start, stalls at traffic lights and very rusty. Succession of careless owners. Service history tucked away in a recipe book somewhere. Upholstery needs attention as the stuffing is coming out. Often running on the wrong fuel and has three wheels rather than four. Door missing and sun roof is stuck open. Bargain! Lol

Headlights out of adjustment. Doesn't like starting in the mornings. Wonky joints. Engine worn. No big bits fallen off yet just a few screws missing.
