I’m guessing we’ve all heard of bitcoin and are totally priced out of its market. It’s just under £40k per coin. There is other crypto currencies out there, around a hundred or so I’ve found but dogecoin is getting a lot of attention just now. Elon musk has been tweeting about it saying it’s the crypto for the people and will be the currency he uses on mars.
It’s going the same way the games shop did with Reddit users behind its up surge. It’s went up loads in the last week, from 0.0088$ to 0.066€ Each
I bought €50 at lunch time and it’s now worth €58, I also had a €2 buying fee so really only bought €48 worth of coins. 1192 doge in total. If it makes 1 euro each I stand to make around a grand profit for doin very little. Some forecasters are thinking it may hit 25 dollars each by the end of 2021. I’m happy as long as I don’t lose money.
If you decide to invest and it goes wrong please don’t blame me. I just thought you might like a heads up and a chance to make a bit of easy but not guaranteed cash.

That's really tempting I have to say. You see ads all over the Internet and spam, and it makes me suspicious. If you have done it and it works, like I said, tempting!

It’s up and down and I’m treating it as a long term investment not an overnight get rich quick scheme. I just checked and my 50 euros is now 63 euros.
I used a site called Kraken.com and just paid with my bank card. The sites not got any hidden viruses as I got it scanned and has never been hacked. It is a bit notchy in places.

If anyone is considering doing it wait till early morning to purchase or late at night. Less people awake world wide, America is asleep so there’s less trading and the prices are lower, or at least more stable. Have a good hunt about online and check what your getting into and only spend money your comfortable not seeing again

Any idea why it's in Euros? The euro is on it's way up at the moment, and there will be some loss converting to sterling.

I was watching some Vice film the other day and it was saying a lot of people want to use bit coin as its more ethical than traditional banks ?
I would worry there was a computer failure. I keep my wealth in sheep.

Any idea why it's in Euros? The euro is on it's way up at the moment, and there will be some loss converting to sterling. The site deals in euros and US dollars. I guess it’s a more stable currency than the pound is just now. If the euros rising that’s a good thing. You still get more than 1€ for £1, so it’s in our favour just now. If the € rises then when you cash out you make a profit converting back to £. |

You can set it to usd if you want. It choose euro for me due to location. It’s not a big deal! We’re still left! You won’t have to speak German! 😂
