Not today but yesterday I got jay to drive me up to Maggie’s to make sure she was ok. Her phone had broken and all is ok  It was the best surprise, I'm still buzzing 😍 I’m about, feel like I’ve nowt to share tbh |

Just finished pointing another side of my clients house. ! This is the poor chap who has a fatal cancer but to see the smile on his face I feel 100ft tall knowing that my work has managed to put a big smile on his face by making his house look much better :-)
They want me to do the big front face of their house which is at least twice the size if not more than the smaller side that I have just spent 15 days chipping out and pointing. I am guessing about 6 to 8 weeks work. No idea when I may find time to do it,but it will be a nice little earner to come back to when I can get down this way again in the future ( if I dont get banned from France that is ! )
Will take a couple of pics tomorrow when I go back to get my tools to show you the finished job that I have just done and a pic of the front face .

A friend just sent me these images that are just down the road from where he lives in Burgundy showing the viticulturists lighting thousands of fires and candles to heat up the grape vines. It is incredably beautiful and if they are going to do it every year I will try and get there and park in one of the couple of park ups that I know on those hills and take some piccies. Check it out it really is stunning :-)

I have never seen it before in all my years here. I see from time to time a few fires being burned but they from what I can gather are to burn the cuttings which I guess helps keep a certain disease away or certain diseases but cant be sure,but they were definately not placed right for heating the vines.
I am guessing that it is a new thing :-)

Does that mean that they check to see if a hippy has owned it ?
