i dont give to beggers as a rule but will go an buy them a pasty ,are we doing wrong by taking young people in because who is going to rebuild their own country The trouble is a lot of them, young or old, have no skills or trades to bring to the job market in the UK. We can only have so many car washes and pizza delivery people. In london a fair few get caught up in crime like the moped gangs who are all reputed to be illegals. Or working in modern slavery, |

We have farms screaming for labourers , as proved by the govs great idea to get furloughed people getting the crops in . Having no skills never stopped Windrush etc .
I agree many people do not have the means to escape an oppressive regiems . It is very sad .

I know in a lot of cases people get charged a lot of money in the hope of finding a new better life..they ve "heard" that its better here,easy to find work,better quality of life.but if,they manage to get here are as shocked as the next person at the reality they face here..prejudice,racism,poor living conditions ..communities unwilling to allow them to intigrate...i also know a lot are unwilling to intigrate but dont blame them if the sort of welcome hinted at here and elsewhere is anything to go by..my son in law was illegal,came over twice,in,and under a lorry,he was taken back the 1st time but where he came from there was nothing for him..he has now leave to remain and a british passport.he has always worked,has many friends who are very welcoming to me .including me at gatherings and when met out always stopping to ask after family and for a chat,his friends too..maybe i try to treat them with the respect due to a person whatever race..how to stop "them" coming?maybe the organisers of this terrible trade should be targeted more,these people dont wander round Europe or elsewhere with a dinghy or the like under their arm hoping for escape..there are people organising this for a hefty price,lots of promisees and very few guarantees..maybe if we stop,directly or indirectly destabilising their countries there maybe reason to remain"where they should be"...and drowning!good to see the hippy spirit😈

at the end of the day these migrants are all ILLEGAL and should be sent straight back, we should have a revolving door policy. if someone arrives here in a rubber boat they can only have come from France. nobody asked them to come and like I said at the end of the day they are ILLEGAL immigrants and most of them seem to be economic migrants, more of them seem to be fit young men, only a fraction are women and children.
I tried to emigrate to Canada in the 1970s, but was refused, did I try and get in illegally? no I did not.
also, they are supposed to stop in the first safe country they come to, that IS NOT Britain.

I think that every failed asylum seeker in Europe ( estimates 400,000 ) should travel across war ravaged European safe coutries to France.No matter that they haven't mainly come from war ravaged countries they should be picked up by the coast guard and safety escorted to our shores.Upon arriving they should be put up in 4 star hotels at the cost of the taxpayer and given some spending money too.
It's not unreasonable to suggest that these poor men of fighting age that enter illegally should jump to the top of the list of migrants we should accept and people that follow the legal route will just have to accept it . Meanwhile the criminal smuggling gangs that have no regard for these people can continue raking in a small fortune and can make hay while the sun shines.

bit of a catch 22 situation, on one hand i feel for these people doing everything they can to get to the uk as they perceive a land of milk and honey, on the other hand we as a nation are heading into a major recession, so who or what is going to pay ? . i have always believed that you and your family come first and you cannot help anyone when you are both in the gutter
