Phone call from Yolanda, wont be home staying with Beth ( our daughter ) as she not feeling well ( another grandchild on the way soon ). Ok say I then crack on with my engine over way. Light starts to fade so in I come with a carb. No Yolanda to tell me off...... So I thought half hour later she walks in, thinking its the neighbour I shout in the bedroom put kettle on and I will make tea, nope not neighbour but herself and not very impressed with me doing carb on table.

I don't know what the problem is Many years ago I came home to find vanman pounding on a propshaft UJ on the hall carpet. It was raining....

remember when the landlord came to visit and asked what the hell is that, you never seen a harley before ? not in the living room he replied,well you won,t fix the garage roof and there is a lot of money there, he shrugged and left

Oh Millie. She knows how sneaky you are, she probably came home early on purpose I remember a bloke telling me once the first thing he did when his wife left him was wheel his bike into the sitting room so he could work on it while he watched the telly Lol

A lived in home any day rather than a show home . Once you have a cat dog and sheep living under the same roof you give up, mind, sheep is evicted for moment .

you havent lived until your mate builds a bike in the bedroom then its all hands on deck to get it onto the landing and down the stairs. happy days.

the dishwasher brings up engine cases like new, if its big enough it even cleans wheels. if you get caught its nothing to do iwth me

I don't know why but among bikers it was always almost a point of honour to have at least one bike in bits in the living room.

I had a mate who built a triumph chop in his flat in an upstairs flat in an old Victorian house..had to be bought down the stairs with 2 landings on its end..4 blokes...another bought a newbuild and immediately took down the back fence so he could rebuild his bike in their very small lounge,through the patio doors!

Can't get bikes in ours to much of an angle to have to lift the bike round with my back 😊 Yolanda when younger had a Harley she bought in bits in the basement of where she lived but couldn't get it out when fully built had to strip it again.
