Phone call last night about 9.00 . No more work till after Easter. Not risking my staff getting the virus and passing it on doing cycle training in the schools and kerbcraft with the 5yr olds. My managers bosses didn't like it.
Being zero hour contract I said what about wages. Manager said all what's booked in till July you will be paid for, infact if you only doing half days make sure you put down whole days on your timesheet to cover the travelling time and fuel expenses you'll loose as I been trying to change those damn contracts for couple of years now and don't see why my staff should loose out. I like my manager 😊 and now to get my scooters finished off. I only been home a day and doing partners head in.

You are very lucky to get days booked so in advance. Many zero hours workers only get week to week.

I'm glad you're getting paid, M, some people are going to be in terrible situations if they don't get any work for a while now. Although I do think the risk of your partner battering you to death might be greater than the risk of getting the virus  Lol |

Back to bed wish it was winter and I could hibernate. 😊 |

You are very lucky to get days booked so in advance. Many zero hours workers only get week to week. Yes I don't see most of them getting much support yet or those single self employed doing work from home. I only lucky with hours as I book them in myself before the next school year starts. |
