Modern life is always based on elaborate cons and lies for the personal profit of lying officials politicians and corporate interests,it keeps us all 'content' on the hamster wheel.
Ill watch it but i doubt therell be much we dont already know or havent guessed.
We always attack these problems the wrong way around and let manufacturers, merchants and politicians tell us what is good for us (good for them) theyve been doing it for centuries, why should it be any different now.

Will it be on catch up? I don't have a TV.
For the record, I think a lot of recycling is a con. That said I also hate waste so actually de try to recycle.

Wrapping paper, especially brown, plastic bags were always saved and reused by my folks and likewise from my O/H and me. Only cans and fire ash went in the dustbin, some cans were used as planters as were bogroll tubes. Boneman had old clothes and any scrap and all food waste went on the compost heaps.
In a fortnight I'm putting more shite in the recycle bin than a family of 5 did as 'rubbish' was as a kid and it will mostly go to landfill as recycling is mostly a lie.

To be honest, if the shops didn't sell all the packaging, it wouldn't have to be recycled...

Everything came in paper bags, paper sacks or cardboard (which you recycled. Tin cans and bottles which mostly got recycled. Its manufacturers whove stuffed everything in plastic and Styrofoam for 'convenience' and marketing display purposes. Consumers can recycle but it needs government to drive the nanufacturers and marketing numpties to change the way they pack and market goods.

To be honest, if the shops didn't sell all the packaging, it wouldn't have to be recycled... Exactly!!! Just because I want to buy some plums why do they have to come in a plastic tray? That's not for my benefit, I don't want it I don't need it but somewhere along the way I am paying for it. Salad, mushrooms, even apples. It is both ridiculous and un necessary

Its got completely out of control when 150grams of fruit or veg is packed in a glossy plastic pack with a plastic display lid...for 'convenience' its bullshit its just artificially adding value to a product to extract more profit, its not convenient as its all got to be disposed of nor good for the environment as very little gets recycled.

Bring back deposits on things. As a kid I did well scavenging beer bottles, Corona bottles etc and it topped up any pocket money, enough to keep me in fags and sweets. The 5p on bags got me trained to use 'bags for life' and the same would apply for deposit items. Bring back paper bags also. Chips tasted the same in newspaper and anything loose was bought in brown paper, either sheet or bags.
Just why do the wankers have to use soddin plastic for near enough everything as plastic is now in the foodchain and we eat it or drink it or inhale it as particles everyday.

When I was a lad everything went on the fire. The ashes either went in the dustbin or if they were good ashes they were used to top up the paths in the gardens round the village or fill in potholes in the lanes. All wrapping paper & chip papers went to light the fire. Glass jars were re used for homemade jams & pickles. All that went to the tip was ashes & broken glass & broken crockery, just like the Victorians did. How has everything managed to go so fucked over just the last 40 yes or so.?...🤔

As I said before, its manufacturers and marketing numpties whove pushed it all on us and tell us its what we all want, except we never had much option to opt out of it. Why do we need a peeled orange or banana in a plastic box FFS,they already come in their own natural biodegradable package.

All part of the "consumer is king" ethos... Don't waste your time peeling fruit, let us do it for you! & people fall for the hype every time. Your time is too important to waste etc.... Life is far too easy now but still people seem to look for ways to cut corners......
