Just been reading about Sir Billy Connolly, he’s a wordsmith to treasure. He used this one;
Shoogly; an old Scottish word, meaning wobbly, unsteady.
I can relate to that, some mornings.

I live just over the border, English side, so Scots words are utterly familiar. They are wonderful though, aren't they?
One of my Scottish friends offered me big, boazy hugs, when she found out that I'm looking after my sister.
Boazy hugs are bosomy, enveloping hugs, and one of my new, favourite words. 😊
