A simple pleasure today was a good old cup of tea after cracking on with two large mixes this morning. Just to simply sit down at 11 oclock after four good hours graft and enjoy a black cup of tetley with one sugar whilst looking out across at the distant languedoc mountains raising their heads up to say hi to the sky. Simple but lovely was that well deserved tea break :-)

I can't remember when I last used any kind of public transport. Cheapest public transport here is £7 trip to local town 5 miles one way. That isnt happening. |

I can't remember when I last used any kind of public transport. Cheapest public transport here is £7 trip to local town 5 miles one way. That isnt happening. My ex his heading back over to Portugal this weekend. His plane ticket cost a tenner. It would cost me half that if I wanted to catch a bus into town, like yours, Cris, five miles away. And if I wanted to go anywhere vaguely useful I’d need another bus. I never use public transport as it’s pants. |

Not much use if there are no buses IC. Here they go into town twice in the morning, and twice home. The last bus home is 2 pm.
Luckily for me I can walk and cycle.

Just sat down having a cold can of coke between filling buckets up with weeds and the simple pleasure is that all the french are at their 12 til 2 lunches and all I can hear is the birds singing and thr rustle of the leaves falling off the big chestnut tree in the breeze. Very peaceful :-)

Taking my electric bike out, riding down the track for the first time in about two years - pedalling rather than using the electrics. I managed not to run anybody down. 😁

Going to my mums for Sunday dinner with a nice bottle of red to put in the dcenter and then drink.
3 racecards for me and mum to look at and lose some pennies on.
