That used to be my sisters favourite chocolate bar, danann I'm not keen. My daughter brought me over a couple of bars of galaxy chocolate this afternoon, and a big bag of crisps. I have to say that I lay on my bed in Iris and scoffed the lot. I feel a bit sick even now, but am totally ok with it. ๐

Enjoying spring sunshine and wildlife sounds with no airliners going over every 90 seconds or the continuous annoying drone of private planes.

Sitting out for ages around six this morning listening to the crows who are nesting in next-doors chimney squawking about. There always appears to be one on the nest mostly one parading around shouting at another who either is nesting in the third chimney pot of the three together or is just a random who hangs about none look very old. At night they sound like they are arguing and next-door was saying they sound like a load of noisy kids with boots on bouncing about in the morning and their dog keeps looking at the ceiling confused. Also when she moved the board from the fireplace in case they fall down chimney there was loads of twigs, paper and sheeps wool. I have found my binoculars now so I can watch them in detail more. Fascinating they be.

Jackdaws, I love them. They are nesting in my chimneys too and I have frequently rescued youngsters who have fallen down into my kitchen. Their parents wait outside while I clean them up, give 'em a drink if water and give them back to their family.
Every year I try to find someone to clear the nests and put a cowl on my chimneys to stop them coming back once they've finished nesting, but have been unsuccessful up until now, and my chimneys are barely use able as a result. The birds are awesome, though.

Exciting times we live in. Yolanda has ordered a new crapper seat. Probably got spikes on it so I don't spend so long in the reading room ๐

This morning 10mins after getting up I have been mainly fitting the new crapper seat. I am now giving it a try out for comfort. I plan to read War and Peace all the way through.
