If it meant that lives would be saved and getting back to the new 'normal' would be quicker then I'm all for it BUT there would have to be some serious thinking done by the powers that be and a proper plan put in place as far as could be made to make that small sacrifice of freedom worth while.
The big problem is that there's nobody from any party in the house of fools who I'd piss on if they were on fire, they're all in for themselves and not the people who put them there.

Its careful to avoid explaining that and what the groupings ABC1 and C2DE mean.

Scaring people into accepting police or military curfews is teetering on the edge of dictatorship tactics. If the statistics are to be believed the number of deaths is miniscule compared to whst it was when the outbreak began. Something smells bad about the whole thing.I wouldnt trust anyone in govt to iron my shirt especially when theres someone like Cummings operating Boris.

Why are less people dying? Yes there's the steroid that assists but just why are the hospitals filling up like they were before?
The virus has mutated but something is not being said IMO.

Like I said, it's disturbing that there should even be 'social grade' (whatever exactly that is) as an option. Why would anybody select 'social grade' as a subject for a curfew?

Theres a lot not being said. Mushroom management. Spending 100 billion on testing when they dont even have the ability is just insane.Theyd be better off spending the money on the NHS hospitals and ambulance services and GPservices so they can cope with any extra demand. But logic doesnt seem to be their strongpoint.

Social grade isnt a selectable reply its how the results are displayed according to the results of how the questions have been responded to and would have included questions about ethnicity area income sex age married single etc and from that they can deduce social grade. But it doesnt tell you what the grades are and how theyve deduced which group they belong in. But its explained here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NRS_social_gradeukgeographics.co.uk/blog/social-grade-a-b-c1-c2-d-e

NomadCris, Social Grade is selectable, you just scroLl down the drop down menu and click on it. I just did it. 'Gender' and 'Politics' are pretty offensive as a selection for types to curfew too. Why would anybody select them, let alone offer them as options?

Its selectable display of the results. The yougov page is a survey results page and uou select which results criteria you want to see. Youre not asked in a survey what social grade you are.

Ah my mistake, I thought it was partially survey and partially results (bar graph). So 'Social Class' is for participants, I get it now.

When the tedious people with clipboards barge into you and ask if youd mind answering some questions for a survey theyre doing on behalf of X they ask age, colour or ethnicity, religion, gender you identify as, if youre married, single, divorced, CP, gay, straight, trans etc, working, professional, managerial, clerical, medical, skilled manual unskilled, non working, retired income, area of residence, education level etc etc and from all that info they deduce which social grade you belong and whether it influences or explains the answers to questions they asked on a subject.
But it doesnt bother to explain anything about that on the yougov page or anything much about the survey when or where becsuse it all influences the results youre trying to get. Not to mention it gets suspicious when the government are actually sounding people out for accepting curfews on movements.

I agree, and I don't give any of that info to people I never met before. Never understood why people do.

Last one with a clipboard to ask me anything was back in about 73 when I was visiting Brum.
