I am getting the impression that we are supposed to believe it's all over! Go out, spend money, go to the pub! Just now, on the radio it said that NHS staff won't have free parking at work soon, though no date was given. Terrible sooo sad and sooo wrong what peeps are doing and the Gov .. ( and So sad that your words are Sooo True Vanwoman84 ( it’s like peeps have been Brainwashed to think that is ALL OVER by the Gov and By There OWN SELFISH NEEDS AND WANTS as well:(( and totally Disgusting they are gonna stop free parking for NHS Staff at Work soon

Mind you, it's no dafter than much of the other stuff that falls from the mouths of men of power so people will probably agree with him lol

I'm very confused with all the Covid stuff again, is anyone else making sense of it? Although there are still people being diagnosed daily, the numbers in hospital are apparently less than a thousand? Which in a population of 66 million isn't that many (still too many, obviously, but overall it's far less). We don't seem to have seen big spikes after the BLM marches and people going to the beach and so on. Do you think it's run out of steam a bit and fewer people are being severely affected by it? I'm struggling to get my head round it all and the numbers don't make sense to me. Was it here for longer than we first thought, do you think? So maybe loads more people had it early on than we knew about? I'm glad the numbers are lower, obviously, I just wish it all made a bit more sense to me x

Germany is having the 2nd wave, cases are seriously flaring up in many parts of Europe, USA has passed 5,000,000 with half recovered and the UK is having flare-ups in numerous places, mainly from immigrants. Bottom line, trust no-one until a vaccine arrives.
Many lowlife selfish tossers have gone on their hols into the EU and thanks to our weak government there is no strict regime of dealing with infected peeps arriving from anywhere abroad and until someone says 'enough' the cycle will continue.

A lot people have become desensitised and are putting them selves at risk and others by not sticking to the guidelines . Nothing has changed except you won't have to queue is for a ventilator now when you catch it . I am sticking with social distancing , good hand hygene and common sense.

Thanks Bungo and Fenris, yep, I know it's not gone, I would just feel better with better quality information and the numbers put into some sort of context. A lot of it doesn't make sense to me and that bothers me and makes me feel anxious. I'd just feel better if I understood it all better. I think the cabin fever and lack of contact with humans that I like (my dickhead neighbours just annoy me) is starting to get to me a bit again. Would just be nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel (a real one, not a conspiracy based one! Lol).

Yes Cricket and when you see all the people on the beaches yesterday is it any wonder there are spikes?
Maybe we have some higher inner vision because we can see things other people it seems cant see

Anyone who is stupid and selfish enough to go on holiday abroad at a time like this isn't going to quarantine for two weeks when they get back. Any politician who thinks they will probably shouldn't be holding public office

And I don't think they will do much to try and stop that because I think herd immunity's always been the aim so people milling about helps that. The beaches have been so busy I wouldn't go even if there wasn't a virus, I can't bare the crowds but other people don't seem to mind. I'm just glad we can stay in and avoid it all as much as possible. I think it's also the realisation that this is here to stay and we need to find ways to live with it. Mine is staying inside! Lol x

one of my first jobs was working on a fishing trawler mostly catching mackerel, on days off would go to the pub and people would not come near me, i could not smell it but i stank of fish even having showered and clean clothes. so smear yourselves with mackerel or other oily fish , nobody will come near you guaranteed
