For those who don't see the bigger picture, it's coming back!
Ignore it at your peril and I'm not scaremongering, it's fact.

From the onset it seems as though spread was accepted as inevitable by most governments who made no real effort to gain control of Covid. They left it to run so for "herd immunity" to develop at the cost of millions of persons lives. The peak hysteria was just about reducing the flow of sick and dying through the hospital system. The old,weak,dependant,impoverished,3rd world all die so what? Its still rampant, hasnt gone anywhere.North Wales is rising very fast in cases and after schools go back it will rise again. We will all get infected eventually probably.Ignore the government. There is a deadly virus out there. The government want economic restart, you dont matter.Keep yourself safe.

Theyre all climbing over each other to develop a vaccine but thats not with us or our wellbeing in mind, its so whoever patents one can make trillions of dollars globally and hold to ransom countries or Governments they dont like.
We are run by pondlife scumbags wearing expensive suits being driven to work in bulletproof limousines, they dont give a shit about us. The only answer is stop voting them in to power but thats not going to happen, voters have short memories and easily distracted by jewels and shiney things.

I think everybody knows what the problem has been in Leicester, I just wish everyone was prepared to be open about it and discuss it in an adult fashion. After Saturday there are going to be more spikes because people are behaving like a---holes.

I am getting the impression that we are supposed to believe it's all over! Go out, spend money, go to the pub! Just now, on the radio it said that NHS staff won't have free parking at work soon, though no date was given.

I am getting the impression that we are supposed to believe it's all over! Go out, spend money, go to the pub! Just now, on the radio it said that NHS staff won't have free parking at work soon, though no date was given. I was thinking the same, Vannie. We've been to the library this morning - yay! They're doing a click and collect thing so you tell them beforehand what you want (or they do a lucky dip for you) and then just collect at the door - all contact free so I thought that was a good idea. We walked into town but my back went on the way and I was limping by the time we got there so we got a cab back.
I think we've been/are lucky where we are; people seem to be keeping their distance and we were able to avoid getting too close to anyone. We are going to start getting back to our regular health treatments (which we've both missed) and perhaps some socially distanced picnics, maybe some socially distanced walks as well. I've made us both masks and I'm going to do some more this afternoon (son wants his to fit over his headphones so he doesn't have to take them off to put his mask on so I'll have to faff about later to see if I can do that). I did the elastic too short on mine so it made my ears stick out and I look like Pob My mum used to always do the string on my mittens too short so my arms would be bunched up in front of me like a T Rex; it reminded me of that lol. I think I've got my head around it being part of our lives for the next couple of years now. Maybe longer.
We did go past Weatherspoons and it was empty. It's usually full of old boys in the morning; they do those refillable coffee cups in there so I think they can all sit in there all morning for Β£1.50 or something. I do feel sorry for them; if they can't meet in the pub then they're probably all sitting at home on their own? I hope they're alright. It did all kick off in town on Saturday night apparently. We avoid that sort of thing now! We will be trying to do some of the things we normally do but most of what we do avoids people anyway; defo no pubs or shops for us xx
