I was just mentioning this on the other site,so have copied it for here.
I can never go to bed until after I have shaven and had a wash which has been a me thing for probably 20yrs or more. Even if I have been out partying until dawn and am completely wasted and knackered,I still must do it. 24hrs without a shave, noooooo way !!
Also when I shave I always start up by my right ear !!
Anyhow, just to stop me from feeling weird and freaky I would appreciate it if you all shared you habits and rituals that you do on a daily basis, and go on and be as weird and honest as you like :-)
Love and light to all,no matter how weird you may be !!

I can't start the day without a large coffee. I know that's quite mundane and common. If I don't (for whatever reason) get a coffee, it's like I just haven't really woken up. Imagine being woken up from a deep sleep in the early hours. That's how I feel without a coffee.

Yes,it is quite normal and quite bizarre as this was looked into and they say that there is little a cooffee does to wake you up,in fact we would be better having an apple !!!! Sod that,I like my morning coffee too :-)

I can't get comfy in bed so consequently I rarely sleep for more than 1/2 an hour without having to no e. Every morning when I get up I'm in such pain with my joints etc, that the first thing I do is sit in my recliner for an hour to come round! Strangely, if I'm out in the bus, 1st thing I'm usually ok....

Strangely, if I'm out in the bus, 1st thing I'm usually ok.... That's much the same here. I'm in loads of pain first thing, but as soon as I get up I have to take the dogs out so that they can relieve themselves. That first walk, I try to manage without people seeing me, as I'm a terrible sight, hirpling across the field. Then I feed the dogs, have coffee, occasionally x2, and see to the birds. Sit around for an hour then see to my sister. Try to work out how to walk the dogs properly between her appointments, if she has a hospital visit I can take the dogs to the river while she's hanging about, or if I'm organised enough and have my tablet with me, I can get on with some writing. When I'm on holiday, as I have been for the last week, it is a delicious feeling just doing things in my own time. 😊

I have by friends who swear by cider vinegar and honey in a cup of water every day to deal with different levels of aches and pains. Maybe worth looking into guys if you have not already. One friend was riddled with arthrits very young in life and nearly had to give in driving because getting in and out of his vehicle was too painful. A sports therpist recommended the above remedy and he had that glass every morning for forty years after and never suffered like it again. He was even off skiing every year for the last few years of his life, and not on the easy runs either !!
Hope you both find something to help your aches go away xxxx

As a question of habit for many years I have always said " fucking prick or fucking stupid cow " ( not wanting to be sexist ) whenever I see someone doing some stupid and dangerous move whilst driving, but always wanting to better myself and with this being quite agressive even if they cant hear me I have now got rid of the fucking part and it is now habit to say prick or stupid cow :-)
Maybe one day it will be " oh my you silly person " , though do doubt it :-)
