People I work couple times a month for said it must be boring your last 30 miles through the mountain passe's from Llangurrig to Llanddewi Brefi it's devoid of colour on rainy days like today all grey bleak mountains unlike Telford where you get different colour shops and house's and gardens. I think not but left them with their illussion of Ceredigion. Funny enough they lived here for 20yrs, must have had their eyes shut. The pics dont actually do justice to the different browns, golds, purple etc what I noticed in the rain.

There's a traveller with an old van(burner chimney thru roof) living on that road in an intriguing tumbledown cottage that I've passed numerous times just south of Ysbyty Ystwyth and just north of the village is a sad Commer stockbox which would have made a great home but is now beyond it. Love that road.

It is quite amazing how much many people do not see on any journey or even through their journey of life. There is beauty and colour everywhere when we cut out the mundane and concentrate on the good things around us. It does not have to be nature, but can be something man made too. If you see a well made dry stone wall for example ( well I would say that ), a nicely pointed house ( well I woukld say that too ) well I may as well mention a nice landscaped garden and get all mly trades out of the way !!
But seriously there are always colours, shapes, definition, and so much more to enjoy if people just learn how to open their eyes and not look out of their windows whilst really looking inwards.
If you are good at spotting beauty, the real challenge for this is a drive through blaenau ffestiniog on a wet and misty day. This is one of the few places that I can think of that really puts it to the test. There is beauty there, but by god you have to look hard. I guess port talbot too,but a poor sense of smell will help !!

Wales is very beautiful in any season and its so varied scenery You dont have to travel far to go from bleak and harsh mountain moor to lush gorgeous pasture and woodland or dramatic sea coasts and mudflats in relatively short dustance and time. As said before,if people cant see whats out there then they must have their eyes closed.

Yes knows the old commer in pontrhydefigiad must have been parked there since early 90's when I use to pass it a lot maybe earlier as was on llangybi common then. A friend has been by the old cottage there for at least 15yrs.
