Had another one yesterday "I'm from traffic management,calling about your minor traffic accident"
Poor chap caught me in a bad mood, long story short he ended up hanging up on me! How rude, I hadn't even finished telling him what a lying cunt he was. Some people,eh?.....

Most of these junk calls don't come from call centres they are just 'freelancers' working with their own phones at home to try and generate contacts which they then get paid for. Its another example of the gig economy aka exploitation of the vunerable |

If the phone rings and is anonymous/with held or i dont know the number i dont answer.
If you keep answering the scammers will keep ringing as they know its a valid working number.
Iphones and Android phones using Android 8 have blockers to block calls.
The TPS service only makes it illegal for the caller to cold call you if youre registered on their system,it doesnt make it illegal if youve rung the cimpany before.
Most minor cold call centres tend to ignore TPS listings.
Talking to the caller is usually pointless as someone else from the company will call you another day.
Like trolls, dont feed them.
