I did something bad the other day that was very slobby indeed. It was very cold in the kitchen for days and I left the washing up for 3 days as I didnt want to be bothered doing it and was very busy with the thought that it wouldnt go bad due to the cold. Any other secret slob confessions anyone?

Haven't washed a single cup since I got the dishwasher! Best thing I ever bought. Sometimes takes me 3/4 days to fill it then turn on & fuck off to bed! Yay, washing up fairies live inside it & its just so fuckin cool!...

I find if you can't see the carpet for stuff, you don't know if its dirty so you aren't as tempted to clean it....😉

I actually buy paper plates as a treat at times,no washing up and firelighters. For a real occassional blitz I move the furniture and hoover behind and under it.Spring cleaning, the yearly blitz does inspire me into action though.I have been in friends homes where they never take their boots or shoes off inside.Taking outdoor footwear off at the door I always do as is respectful of someones home, but at times wish I hadnt.Born in a rural mudbath I was trained to slippers or socks inside and travel in Asia everyone took shoes off in the home.

I have about 2 Sq m of floor, and even then only sweep it once a month. It only gets dirty again, why bother?

How the fuck do you people find stuff? I have a place for everything and am really tidy. It is so fucking easy when you don't have to scratch about looking for stuff, clean dishes to eat or clear a space to sit down or go to bed!

This is the slobs thread. You could start a "Confessions of a Perfect Homekeeper"thread?Being a slob at times doesnt mean untidy. Usually everything has a place, especially tools, then you know where to find it and moving round so much in the past means I travel light, live minimal.I only have 3 plates and bowls.Never understood why people have loads of plates and dinner services etc.Visitors ,if they make it through the door can make do with cups.

i have 16 cupboards, one for crockery, one for mugs and glasses, another for clean bedding and 5 for tools, under the sink for the cleaning stuff, the stairs hold my footwear, one for water, two are for food, coats are in the wardrobe and clothes fill the rest bar one which is for the laundry, well that is the theory
