I wonder if he had any. If somebody puts his car on their insurance, it will show on the MID as insured, so ANPR will leave it alone.
That's where the powers that be went wrong with the automation of Traffic Police. Computer says yes? Leave it alone.

when i was much younger and bit of a hooligan had 29 endorsements on my licence = to 87 points and was not banned,was because all were received on the same day. in my defence have had a clean one now for over thirty years

actually was over a few weeks but court was once a month, nearly all for speeding, unbeknown to me they had just introduced speed cameras

Also reported elsewhere that he was on an over stayed student Visa. So why wasn't he deported when he got nicked in the past?

I didn't know that, bernie. I would agree that if a foreign national breaks the law and is sentenced, they should be deported. We have enough criminals of our own thanks. |
