I read that the customers on one flight had a whip round for the staff because they were literally in work when the plane took off and out of work by the time it landed. Can't remember where I read it now. The problem for me is that 'normal' people, overall, are pretty decent and will help others out - when it comes to business the people making the decisions couldn't give a shit about anyone or anything (unless it's an ethical business, obviously) and when their vanity projects crash down they walk away unscathed while everyone else deals with the mess. |
