Is the joy of Hippydom still a thing ? Is there a new generation ?

Like everything, it changes and evolves. There are members on here that were around in the time of The Battle of the Beanfield. Others haven't lived in a conventional house for years, me included. These days Nomad and Van Life are buzzwords, the younger generation may identify with them more than Hippy. What's in a name? I would describe myself as alternative, rather than hippy.

I am a hippy as I am very hippyish and live in the groovy kingdom of hippydom as a happy hippy should :-)

I fancy I am more what used to quaintly be called 'Bohemian' . Though the Patricians, landed and Colonel have said I am odd and eccentric, which is a bit concerning, but on the other hand, im left alone... to eat worms.

I've been described as Bohemian more than once too, your Dukeness. Not the worst label, if you're into labels, which I am not, generally. I wear many hats. 😎

I have an invisibility cloak when I am with Mrs Dukes- unless she pulls a 'spectacular', that is starts shouting at some unfortunate.

She sounds scary to me as I do not like shouting and angry stuff :-o Mrs Dukes is usually happy and quiet. Her hackles rise and eyes narrow when her xray vision discerns a Disable bay abuser.
Im dreading this recent liberalization and increase of qualifying disable badge holders-to include non physical ailments.
She wont be able to contain her self.
Of course, as Im the 'attendant and designated responsible adult'
I get gifted the accused's fuming and angry rebuttal. I learned along time ago to (a)mind my own (B) transport to a mountian glade beside a sweet stream and feed strawberries to
tame dear
Mrs Dukes suffered a serious head injury many years ago.

I was laughing until I read the bit about the Duchess' head injury. Me too,I was about to click on Like then saw that. Good job I noticed it really as if I had clicked on like people would of thought me to be a right twunt :-o
If its any consolation I used to get head injuries most weekends by frying my brain ;-)
