Have finished my latest dry stone job and shall be off over to hide in my woods tomorrow for a few weeks until the lockdown here is maybe finished !! Have got plenty of work to do in my little forest and shall have plenty of chilling to do after the jobs are done. Am looking forward to getting back there and spending time with all my woodland friends :-) Will stop off at the supermarket en route tomorrow and get a couple of boxes of beer, bottle of wine or two and a bottle of ricard and maybe some food too :-) Am sure stage two of lockdown isnt going to be too taxing. Love and light to all xx
Am likely not going to be able to get wifi for the next few weeks,so please excuse my not being around for a while, though shall be thinking of you all and sending you all love and light and wishing you all well. xxxx

Got up this morning and went to Tesco, five people queuing, shelves full, people being sensible and only buying what they need.
Big thumbs up to the staff, they are doing a magnificent job

Ha ha, it's always good to have equipment older than you are When I left home at 17 (thirty years ago) I didn't have any kitchen stuff, so my friend's mum 'lent' me the saucapan set her mum had given her for a wedding present, 18 years before. The handle on one of the pans broke last year, so I messaged her to tell her the saucepan she'd lent me in 1990 had broken and I would require an immediate replacement. She sent her daughter round the next day with another pot for me lol xx

Haven't even got the sense to freeze it or batch cook soup or stew or something. The staff have been great, our local ones have been fantastic and are even dropping shopping off on their way home to people who can't get out.

I discovered the Disney+ service yesterday, today I am watching all the old films and cartoons I used to watch when I was young.

All my favourite bins are empty because the shops are closed.

Ah, sorry, Vannie, I think this was up Coventry way, you should have seen it, literally bags full of food, full loaves of bread, bunches of bananas, still packaged breadcrumby things (fish cakes or chicken burgers I think), stacked up waiting for the bin men. So much waste

Sad the think that if everyone just shopped as normal, there would be no empty shelves or shortages but now the panic has caused all this waste....🤔

givingitsomethought I am waiting for the excess tinned food to turn up on a recycling area soon, when people decide they don't want 30 tins of beans or realise they don't actually like tinned tomatoes.
