We have a land line . I will not answer it under any circumstances and its in the depths of Mas office . I can only hear it ring if I am in kitchen next to it . I still will not answer it . I have answereed it once in 13 years and that was because it would not stop ringing and Ma was out on horse and my gut feeling was overtaken by my principles and I was lucky not getting rollingk pin treatment , as Ma had fallen off ant the Minted one had done a runner and I was needed for carrot and my equestrian capturing/tracking skills though all unneeded by time I got there as it was quite long way . I say fuck phones . I did have moby back in 96 ? Did my head in , then proper bit of land line shit when I got one of them circa 2001, and never again answer ! Time and a place . I'm not there yet .

Yup , more simple life is , better it seems to be . Progress takes the fun out , sticks the grind in , n spit ye out with fuck all when its rung the guts out of you . I think the fact its considered great to have as many thrones you crap on as you can , within the place you eat and sleep being the height of sophistication a very sad reflection on peoples aspirations Many of my happiest moments were probably downloading in woods and watching the wild life around me as we all enjoy first light.
While we were out today turned a corner and I thought it was dog for second as was big and not reactive , but was a fox , real beauty , but poor thing could hardly walk on back legs and blood on its face . A very busy road about 200 mtrs away , I think it had been hit by a car . Absolutly nothing we could do to help sadly other than keep our dogs back and let it make its way slowly into thick overgrowth . Its life , but still made me a bit quiet weepage .

Yes me also. This 'modern civilisation' for normies isnt all its cracked up to be. I suppose I am lucky to have lived both sides of the fence so can thrive perfectly well either side and know which side is better (for me). Many people today couldnt even cope with how things used to be 40 yrs ago. No mobile cellphones, no personal computers, no internet. I love modern technology it fascinates me but also makes me sad for the everyday knowledge and skills that have been lost to younger generations and mostly forgotten.
A young friend in his 20's was full of enthusiasm about some things -mostly letters and animal shapes- he cut with is laser cutter. I tried hard not to be dismissive when pointing out we used to do these kind of things freehand with a fretsaw when i was younger (half his age) than he is.
I dont know what went wrong along the way but we lost something valuable.

Just woke up, opened the curtains - and there is sky! I can see the outlines of trees, the top of the hill, an almost full moon and some stars! Going to make the most of it as we're back to cloud and rain for the rest of the week apparently Nice to see it's still there! Oh good you got it then, Sent it by fast courier. Gratefully received but please resend as today has been shocking Had to go and retrieve the contents of my recycling bin from half a dozen gardens this morning and nearly drowned when a doofus in a van overtook me and then had to slam his brakes on when he whizzed into the enormous puddle that was the reason I was driving slowly. Come on spring!

Been a bit wild in Scotland. I expect some may be considering putting on a vest. If that weather happened in Engeland theyd think it was the apocalypse.
Have to resend some sun later, theres been a wee shortage today. Low cloud looks like massive alien spacecraft...maybe it is...🤔
Keep dry and avoid poodles.

Been wet here most of the day, so put together a lampshade that focused into a spotlight. Made from recycled tin cans, of course. It's on a trial run at present, and if okay I might decorate it... But so far she says it looks OK as it is, kind of steam-punkish....

But so far she says it looks OK as it is, kind of steam-punkish.... love it ... I remember coming across a little aero toy ... made out of a tin can, in Zimbabwe ... it was a lovely little piece of creativity, from a place on the planet where folks had jack shit and therefore appreciated even the smallest piece of "resource" ... I have since lost it physically, but I remember it - with gratitude and appreciation ... a little tin, actually it wasn't tin, it was aluminium ... but you could swing it around on a long piece of string (like a kind of hoola hoop effect) - and it flew like a little dream ... really sweet love steampunk ... keep doing it dude - good work I'm sure x
