Got caught in the snow on Dartmoor yesterday and found my leak on the box which only occurs when the rain or snow is coming horizontally so although it was nice and snug with the burner ticking over it was pissing in on my bed so called it a day and home for fitting some guttering. It was quite funny, a kid in a volker van tried to position his little motor behind mine but gave up after two attempts, stopping only half an hour as it went whiteover then he or she pissed off.
Worse journey home for years on the M5 between Dartmoor turn to past Bristol. So many tossers doing nose to tale at 70 in driving heavy rain but at least they did it in the outer lanes whilst I toddled at 50 in the empty slow lane and for some miles in a convoy of posh racehorse boxes all signwritten for famous trainers / stables. Got some funny looks as they passed tho.

Bugger all again...got up like a good girl for a special opening for a group of 25,plus carers...got all set up...farm workers up early to get animals and pens ready,and the buggers rang at 10.15..we re not coming its too cold!yes i know its November but you insisted on booking then..so home in the warm..it is bloody cold,windy,wet..glad im not out in it,take care all xx

Wow snow already fenrisulfr ! Is it going to be the hard winter they are reporting? Sorry not the weather thread! I've had frosts most nights but then I like to stop in remote places usually highup and away from people. It's been 0 all day today with some sleet except for going to get some guttering when the guage showed -1 and my back went again bending over in the cold to pick up 15' of ally j section which weighs 1/2 kg max.
Raining cats n dogs again with shedloads of flooding enroute and arseholes stuck in water with loads just hammering through it. Total tossers especially the chelsea tractor brigade. This last couple of weeks of bad weather seems to have brought out the worst in driving, too fast, too close and not inconsiderate behaviour.

Fucking freezing out! Barely getting above 1 or 2 degrees mid day so pretty much indoors except for necessary "dog needs a piss" moments. Oh, and that stupid man I live with decided to put the washing out for a wee while. Asking when I want him to bring it in, my response? "Good luck with that mate"

I'm currently sitting with my sister in the hospital as she gets her chemo.
I found a cream cracker in my bag, ate it (as you do) and immediately started choking. It took a while before I could even manage to tell the nurses that I was choking on crumbs, not spreading plague.😂

Contemplating going up on the roof to sweep the chimney after finding loads of twigs in the back of the wood burner when I went to clean it out to light it indicating that some feathered shite has made a nest up top. Just contemplating although the roof ladder is still there from last year when I contemplated the same then but didn't get a to-it.

Good afternoon all, sipping an iced coffee and having a Ruffle's all seasoned crips. Lunching on leftovers with orange juice. Doing aroma therapy and music therapy till dinner and off to bed tonight.

Today I have been out on the scooter got me mum a cooked dinner, arranging her 90th birthday for the 26th and then home to put fixings on the gate post now its cement has dried. No doubt it will rain and I would prefer to be out riding but can't think of a good enough excuse for Yolanda 😊
