Spent the day taking my sis to hospital, then to doctor and chemist. I would quite like to settle down with something alcoholic, but I have to give her an injection in an hour.
When the pharmacist asked can I do this, I said I've injected pigs and ewes before, and Julia is easier cause she doesn't run away or bite. 😂

Today im back home....travelled to Sheffield thurs after work,found the rather nice hotel literally round the corner from the hospital..hardly slept a wink...got to hospital for 9.30,was prodded,poked had numerous dropps and lights in my eyes,still not knowing if i was being "done"or assessed for the op in the next 2 weeks..was sent to eat,wander and give them time to talk to the surgeon..got back and my nurse said right i take it you know you ll be going down this aft?..i do now..woohoo!by 3.30 i was waiting for uj to pick me up...uncomfortable but painless..Sheffield hosp is an amazing place...every 1 so helpful and friendly,i mean everyone..food outlets so cheap and no shite...this morn,porridge,full English,mushrooms on toast £3.64!..glad to be back tho..sore,totally blind in rt eye..which will improve over 6 weeks ish..phew what an adventure?..
Plus we saw a chocolate shop on the way and cus i was a good girl uj trated me to a thick Spanish hot choc,and a bag of rose,choc,chilli and ginger..and a slab og coco butter ...happy pixie😊xx

Thanks.. i know..if they d had said next week id have said fek it...it was a bit of a journey from us,but last night we had a free flat,patient accommodation as had to be checked over this morn,basic,clean but loo,shower,kitchen..free snack pack on arrival..better sleep than the hotel,even tho i had to sleep face down lol xx
