Heeeeeeey - Occulus rift here. Im just thinking about setting it up again - surprising the number of people who have no idea what its about. The few people I have shown i couldnt get off. Had the light fitting fixed flush to the ceiling now Smashed the previous fighting zombies. great for a work out
Nice one. I got the PSVR as a tester to see what it was about, I have to say I find playing 2D games now strangely disconnected. I'm hooked though on the VR side of things. I think Occulus will be my next step. I really want to have a go at a proper flight game as the Ace combat game is stunning but way too short Yea – I cant face 2d again, particularly sitting stationary. Robo recall is the flagship game or was on the Occulus. Arizona Sunshine was a tad frustrating. Didnt get very far and left it A demo of spider man was outstanding. I spent a lot of time playing pin ball – with zombies for company I have never managed to sit through a big dipper ride with out ripping the face plate off It will be interesting to see the new stuff on offer - I think it must be a couple of years since I last picked it up

Today I might just take Iris for a run. No passengers, just me and the animals and my fiddle. If I go to Seaham its not too far and we can stop overnight, I have to be back tomorrow to see to my sister.

Good plan Maggie. I often just sneak off round where I live for an odd night. Doesn't matter where I am it still feels good to be in the bus...

I have just managed to get my VR legs in check now. I'm loving Wipeout & found doing loop the loops at 300mph is intense as hell but now I can deal with the motion I'm in love. Battlezone is sooo fun (Tron style tank battles). Also Rez infinite takes me back to my clubbing days playing a psychedelic immersive game with a thumping Acid trance soundtrack is awesome. But the game i'm blown away by is AstroBot rescue, a VR platform game is hilarious but so mind blowing. Family favorite though is "Rush of blood" It's a horror ghost train ride in pitch darkness, the roller coaster parts alone make you scream like hell but the horror parts are so creepy and horrific.....You need spare pants for it. I don't scare easily but even I was freaking out. Cant wait for the next gen with eye tracking etc.
