Good night all, sipping an iced cappuccino with jasmine tea. Lunching on leftovers with soy milk. Doing meditation till dinner and bedtime tonight.

Today is Sunday Like every other day for the Duke houshold. Mrs Dukes has some vague recollection that soembody phoned while I was getting mail. Im pleased that she has written something down on a scrap of paper.
Thats a first, and in any other situation worthy of anouncing a public holiday. Usually last weeks messages get conflated with anything recent. I have even set up A large white board to help her, which is ignored.
I was thinking of getting one of thoes Alexa gizmo things she could just speak too, not convinced - anybody got one ?

Not keen myself...😡 Interestingly enough its just come to light that smartTv's and other connected device are also being accessed and info sold.
Its pretty much a given that identity and privacy are non existent. Its just a matter of time before a social/good citizen score is attributed based on data and whats said.
China already implements one and curbs freedom to travel and what not.
There's a steel cage falling around us and it looks impossible to evade - particularly if peeps are forced to use digital money.
There a whole slew of fuckuppery coming down the line – Negative interest rates for one.

Thats been known for a long while, your Dukeness. I tend to be careful what I say if I'm visiting my kids or sis who have smart tvs etc. I also prefer to talk in rooms where my phone isn't. Its vitually impossible to avoid being listened in to as everyone you interact with has a phone in their hand or pocket, plus everything you write on a computer, on or offline, is scanned and read and noted.
Pen and paper is safe. 😒

I've never understood why people welcome those listening devices into their homes. Think about it, they have to listen constantly, to hear the command to do something. It's a small step to recording and harvesting information from them...
I wonder what one of them would do if you told them the stop listening to you?

Supposedly the immense amount of data is currently beyond the spookz ability to sift for what ever is wanted - other than trigger words and phrases, which might pave the way for fugitive spellin [an giv wa to a knew languiture..] Its a boast that everything is recorded and stored. I think I read back in 75 all uk telephone calls were stored -not sure if it was only numbers now I think about it.. The refrain 'If you have nothing to hide -you have nothing to fear' is no more than a promise. Imagine what you say and express now and if you did the same in a more paranoid time and place where peeps have to prove their loyalty to a regime or group by denouncing friends and acquaintances.
