Well today I am dealing with two Universal Credit claims and it may well be the death of me Personally I prefer a monthly payment, I find that easier so that side of it is fine. But the small amount I earn each month varies and every month I'm told to notify them in a different way and, when I do, someone else tells me it's wrong and they tell me a different way again for the next month. The payment doesn't get processed until they have the numbers so it causes delays and I am almost at the point of putting a complaint in to see if that sorts things once and for all. I can see why people don't bother to declare a small amount; it's no more than thirty quid a month so the hassle factor is bonkers. My son's claim should be straight forward as he can't work but again they keep asking for details of his employment and each person I ask about it says something different. None of them seem to be trained very well and they don't seem to actually look at the claim before they answer the question so that's causing problems as well. I don't understand why so many big organisations do such poor training; it surely saves everyone a lot of time and money if everyone knows exactly what to do and gets it right first time? Anyway, I may have to go for a long walk in the rain to avoid combusting or something

1st time ever iv just put a claim in..awaiting the phone call..but i just got a job,lol..oh well il let it run its course,i may get something, its not a full time job..good luck with yours x In theory it's quite straight forward, Grace, but I keep finding that every problem takes half a dozen messages back and forth and often doesn't get resolved until I phone, which means being on hold for ages - I get frustrated at all the wasted time and they must work better if they know what they're doing and don't keep have to re-doing things? I think it's sorted now, has taken all day but it looks okay if the email I just got is accurate. The only thing I don't like about it is that I do have to keep checking on it throughout the month to make sure nothing's gone wrong - with the old legacy benefits once you set the claim up it didn't change unless your situation changed (apart from the 9p payment rises that they used to send a four page letter about ).
I don't quite understand how it all works yet and no-one that works there seems to either I hope you get yours sorted out and good luck with the new job as well xx

Yo sup guys? I’ve just taken a shower and a hair wash. As it’s too hot and humid to go outside again today, I’m just staying cool inside before tucking myself to bed tonight.

Hi all, how are you today? This morning, been outside taking a nice and quiet little walk on the road by my home today because it’s a beautiful and sunny day today. Finally a much cooler and less humid day after the thunderstorm last night and yesterday afternoon. The afternoon, just enjoying my usual TV show on Netflix in bed before hitting the pillow tonight.

Get the stuff to launderette before the holiday let's get there with there stuff or you'll have no clothes. They don't open till 9.00 say I. They open at 8.00 says Yolanda. To early to point out I is right because I asked our daughter who works there. Still nice morning to sit in the car outside in Lampeter.🙃
